I'm so happy you found us.
Whether you're one of our Kids 'N Colors families or you're simply searching for answers as you begin your parenting journey, I truly hope you'll feel at home here.
For more than twenty years, I've had the privilege of watching children take some of the biggest steps of their young lives. I've celebrated first words, first friendships, first days of preschool, kindergarten graduations, and so many beautiful milestones that I'll never forget.
Over the years, I've also learned something just as important...
Parents need encouragement too.
Children don't come with instruction manuals, and no matter how much we love them, there will always be moments when we wonder if we're doing enough. If you've ever felt that way, I want you to know you're not alone.
That's why I created The Kids 'N Colors Journal.
This is a place where I'll share what I've learned throughout my journey as an early childhood educator and preschool director. Some Journal entries will give you a behind-the-scenes look at what our children are learning in the classroom. Others will offer practical parenting tips, child development insights, seasonal activities, and simple ways to help your child continue learning at home.
Most of all, I hope these Journal entries remind you that childhood is meant to be enjoyed. The little moments—the first drawings, the bedtime stories, the silly conversations in the car, the excitement of learning something new—often become the memories our children carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Thank you for taking a few moments out of your busy day to be here. I hope every time you visit, you leave feeling encouraged, inspired, and a little more confident on this incredible journey of raising children.
