Holiday Fun

Our daycare in Palmdale is getting pretty cold now! Yes, its November and we have pulled out the sweaters and warmed up the hot coco for our kiddos. It’s hard to believe that the year is almost done. Daycare is the place to be during our yearly holiday celebrations. Daycares in Palmdale really experience the  yearly seasons, and its perfect for teaching kids!

We have the opportunity to show our kids what every season looks like and feels like by doing activities around them. Our childcare in palmdale is getting ready for some exciting things. Welcome Autumn

Our daycare in Palmdale is ready to receive the Fall season with big smiles and cozy jackets. It was a great summer, and VERY HOT! We are glad it’s finally cooling down, but now wonder about the upcoming winter–will it snow this year? Our childcare is ready to start another exciting time of the year filled with many activities and celebrations for the holiday.

Back 2 School

School is back in session, daycare is busy and Palmdale has been HOT. It’s always a challenge when the it gets really hot in the Antelope Valley, it’s common to see triple digits in the summer. We take extreme precaution and make sure our little ones stay cool and hydrated with Popsicles and plenty of water. For our school kids we getting back to the rhythm was not hard.

We’ve been doing plenty of homework, the preschool kids are once again enjoying Mrs. Monique’s morning class. They have a chance to sing, play, listen to stories, learn their numbers and letters, and most importantly have fun! It’s Kids Code

It’s official we began our Coding class called “It’s Kid`s Code”!  Our kids are learning the basic understanding of how programs work with algorithms to create a final application. It is a hands on class, where kids are in small groups learning how to code on shared computers. The kids LOVE it they all say they have never had a computer class like this one, and are eager to continue learning and getting to to the point of creating there own Apps. Tech and Daycare finally meet!

Summer is here!

Kid’s `N Colors is not like other daycares in Palmdale. We focus on fun activities that kid’s enjoy, keeps them busy, and will ensure an unforgettable summer. We have started our field trips and karate classes. Soon we will launch our coding class that has been voted to be our main summer program this year by our kiddos. Please stay tuned for pictures and updates on all classes, events, and field trips.

Easter egg hunt

This was an exciting day for all of our kids. It was great to see the spirit all our kids showed in our annual Easter egg hunt. What made it even more special was at the end, when everyone started counting how many eggs they found. It was nice to see the kids that found a lot of eggs share their findings with those that found 1- 2. That is what made this Easter that much more memorable–the kindness of kids and willing to give to make another friend feel better! 🙂

We love St. Patrick’s Day

The mischievous leprechauns visited Kids N Colors Daycare this year. They came to Palmdale to spread the joy of St. Patrick’s day by placing golden coins in the front play area of the daycare. The children were prepared with their hats they made to hopefully greet the leprechaun . Our children had lots of fun finding the golden coins and also for some reason eggs filled with goodies:)
