Spring is here, so let’s celebrate. To kick off our month of May we will be creating a fun Mother’s Day surprise.

After celebrating our amazing moms, we have plenty of other fun activities planned. On May 14th we will be creating our own nebula in a jar that you can take home. On May 17th we will have a lesson in gardening and make our very own looms to take home. On May 21st you will get to take home a Home in a box.

We are so excited to be celebrating this new season with friends, family and more.

It is truly a blessing to be able to continue our program after a long past year filled with many obstacles because of Covid-19. We have done everything possible to give our kiddos the same daily routine, and know that like us other child care programs have felt the same amount of pressure during these times. Still we managed to offer our preschool kids a program that promotes social skills, and all the tools they need to be prepared for Kindergarten.

It hasn’t been easy for us adults just imagine our kids, some have stayed indoors and have not had the chance to socialize with other children for sometime. We invite you to join us regardless if it’s part time or full time daycare. We’d love to have your kids be a part of our program.

Check out this link from the CDC. It’s a Parent Resource Kit to help in your Childs Social, Emotional and Mental health.

Whether you’re looking for a quality in home daycare or child care center give us a call today, and know you have a place for your kiddos you can trust.

Check out what one of our parents says about our daycare, “I’m so happy that there is a safe and loving daycare near me. I have trusted Ms. Monique at Kids N Colors Daycare with my babies since 2016.”

Find the Best Daycare Near Me

Find the Best Daycare Near Me: Things to consider. Should I find a daycare near home or close to work.

Kids N Colors Daycare Palmdale

Daycare near me? Yes, its time for you to find a daycare for your kids, and boy can it be tough. Sometimes parents ask say to themselves, “I hope I can find a Great daycare near me, or at least in town.” This is most of all cases, but some parents struggle to find a daycare in Palmdale or their city that they love, and gives them no choice but to travel.

Real Home Away From Home

Our daycare had a family for a few years that had to travel 30 minutes from their home to drop of their kids to my daycare in Palmdale, and then drive all the way to work which was about half hour from their jobs. I asked mom a few times “Isn’t it an inconvenience for you to have to drive out of your way, then head back the and drive to work that is a lot closer to your home than childcare? ” I was absolutely happy to hear her respond, which sounded a little like this, “I cannot find a good daycare near me, and I love you guys and don’t trust anyone else with my kids.”

I felt great! I truly felt blessed by that type of feedback, and felt as she recognized our hard work. 🙂 So, there are those cases where a family might have to look a little further from where they live to find a good daycare.

Finding a good daycare near me.

Yes you can! I strongly believe that we daycare providers are a different kind of breed of people, ones that loves working with children. Why we all do it is for different reasons, but at the end it all comes down to loving being a part of kids lives and guiding the future of our world.

Don’t be afraid to look local first.

As I mentioned you will probably find the right daycare after you search for a daycare near me, but make sure that they have the following.

  1. Are licensed by the state of California
  2. Have a local business license
  3. Have a good reputation (They should have some type of testimonials)

I know it’s scary, but we in home childcares and centers are there to help you while you do Adult stuff like work or go to school. You’ll know if you find the right childcare, if you don’t find one immediately, keep looking. You’ll soon find one that best fits your needs.

Should I find a childcare near home or where I live better than one close to work?

One thing to ask, is if there is an emergency, and for some reason you can’t leave your job or don’t hear your phone who can pick up your child. Maybe you work out of town, and if an emergency arises and you need someone to pick up your child, who will be willing to drive where you work to pick up? Consider asking yourself, “would a daycare near me be more beneficial?” some parents have relatives that live in the same city pick up kids in case of an emergency.

Celebrating with our kids at daycare

That one thing to consider should be a good indication of where you should look for childcare Sometimes it would be good to have your kids near your job, but having you kiddos in a childcare where you, your family, and friends live is probably a better idea. A just in case tip, because you never know if you’ll one day need someone to pick up your kids from childcare.

February 2021

Its February 2021 the month of love, and our daycare in Palmdale is celebrating like we always do, but with some small changes of course. It was a lovely Valentines day celebration, and our kids got a chance to participate in spreading the love and spirit of friendship by passing out their Valentines Day cards to their buddies. Usually, we would have a big celebration as it is always fun to celebrate friendships. As you search and ask yourself “is there a good daycare near me?” Remember we are always ready to help you out with your kiddos, and you can count on having a daycare that cares for you and your baby’s. You will not join just a daycare, but instead a daycare family. During this season that our daycare in Palmdale celebrates love and friendships, it’s safe to say that we need this right now more than ever. I’ve been blessed to be in a world where many different cultures and ethnicity’s, come together in one tiny place called Kid’s N Colors Daycare. I love it and so do all my kids, especially to grow up in a place where we might all be different, but share one same thing–a BIG smile! With all the love in the world, I invite you to give us a call and schedule a tour today!

January 2021

Hey it’s 2021! We made it through another year, and one that we shall always remember. Last year was challenging being scared of what would come and not having any clarity of the future did not help. It was a challenge especially not being able to do all the fun things we are usually accustomed too like going on field trips, having celebrations and our much anticipated Christmas program. Yeah we had big plans in 2020 and it kinda just all came to a halt because of Covid. Even then I have to say that 2020 was a year of learning for us. It was a year where we all looked at each other and can relate to one thing we were all going through together. I can’t begin to tell you how much I love my families, and amazing kiddos. We were lucky to have such an understanding and supportive group of parents, our daycare community is making it through this because of all of your cooperation in working together to get through this. So, happy 2021 and may it be the best year ever! Love, Ms. Monique

November 2020

Welcome November!

So excited to see our kids happy during this season of celebration! Last month we had tons of fun during our spirit week, and also an unforgettable Halloween Party!

Our daycare kidos were super happy, something well needed during these different times. We’ve been doing this since 2005, and I have to say that the challenges we face now makes everything in our little daycare world like a puzzle of 1000 pieces; we have to be patient as we have to try different things to piece it together.

To continue giving our kids as much normal as possible.

That’s why we want to continue doing these special events for our kids. It’s important to keep their spirit up and remind them that being a kid is all about having fun.

So this month when you ask yourself “what is a good daycare near me doing for kids during November?”

Thanksgiving Celebration Week!

Know we are here for you and your kids.

Parents! Looking for a daycare that assists kids during their distance learning? We do and would love for you to join our daycare family 🙂

October 2020

Hey guys nice seeing you! Super fun spooky daycare begins in October! Yay, for pumpkins, jack o’lantern’s, and Halloween crafts that will be crafted by our little witches and sorcerers.

I’m sure you all already know Halloween is My personal favorite since, forever!

This month at daycare we are doing a bunch of fun stuff with our kids. Our daycare in Palmdale is doing everything possible to keep up the spirit, and give our kids some normal things to look forward too. We will still do it in a safe manner, and it seems that we are doing a good job at it since everyone at daycare is healthy.

On other daycare news, we continue assisting our kids in distance learning. What can we say our tutors are Rockstar’s, and we are so happy we discovered some VERY talented people to join our team. So a big Hooray for our daycare team for working so hard to keep our kids on task.

What are your kiddos doing this Halloween? Asking yourself “Is there a good daycare near me that has taken all Covid measures to keep kids safe?” Give us a call today and get your kids in on time for the celebrations.
